Detailed Description

The Survey Web Service (SWS) is a web service that provides 
functionality for creation, manipulation, and deletion of surveys, 
questions, and answers.  Registered survey administrators can create 
surveys, specify the questions in each survey and define the answers 
for each question. Survey users can fill in a survey by voting for 
one or more answers of each question. 

The goal of the SWS is to enable developers employ functionality for 
survey creation and management without actually implementing such 
functionality. SWS can be incorporated in stand-alone applications, 
web pages, or Microsoft Office XP documents. The only requirement for 
the systems or products using SWS is the ability to make and receive 
SOAP 1.1 calls. Thus SWS can be used by variety of applications on 
different platforms as remote rating/voting module.
